Sado is a sushi restaurant/bar in the heart of The Hill – St. Louis, MO.
Sado is a new Japanese restaurant that opened on The Hill in the middle of some of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis or maybe the state and nation.
This is the third restaurant concept for the owner, who has been in business for over twenty-one years.
Sushi is their primary focus, but it is a Japanese restaurant with alternate options.
It was nominated and listed as one of the Best New Restaurants in America – 2023, a Semi-Finalist of the James Beard Foundation 2019 Awards, and widely written about in local food publications.
With no disrespect intended, our question is that with national coverage as they have received, why are the customer reviews not higher than they are? Google is only 4.5 stars, but there are many Asian restaurants in the Greater St. Louis Metro with higher ratings. We have not visited the restaurant or ate there. But to us, there appears to be a disconnect. Even if that is the case, the ratings are great.
