Augusta Wine & Jazz Festival Returns June 6–8, 2025: A Weekend of Music, Wine, and Missouri Heritage

AUGUSTA, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) – Wine enthusiasts and music lovers, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated Augusta Wine & Jazz Festival returns June 6–8, 2025, promising a weekend filled with exceptional Missouri wines, live jazz performances, scenic vineyard views, and cultural charm in the heart of Augusta Wine Country.

Nestled along the Katy Trail and the Missouri River Bluffs, the quaint town of Augusta becomes a vibrant celebration of local flavors and timeless music during this multi-day event.  Known as one of the country’s oldest designated American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), Augusta offers the perfect backdrop for sipping wine and enjoying soulful jazz under open skies.

A Celebration of Wine, Jazz, and Community

The Augusta Wine & Jazz Festival is a cherished annual tradition that brings together renowned jazz musicians, award-winning Missouri wineries, gourmet food vendors, and visitors from across the region.  Hosted in multiple locations around Augusta, including historic winery grounds, downtown patios, and open-air venues, this festival highlights the best Missouri wine scene while supporting local arts and businesses.

From big band and swing to contemporary and classic jazz, the festival’s music lineup has something for every fan of America’s original art form.

2025 Featured Jazz Artists

This year’s headliners include:

  • The Hot Club of Baltimore – Bringing a Django Reinhardt-inspired Gypsy jazz sound that fuses swing and soulful acoustic instrumentation.
  • The Jim Manley Band – A local St. Louis jazz staple known for bold trumpet solos and electrifying arrangements.
  • Funky Butt Brass Band – Blending traditional New Orleans brass band vibes with high-energy funk and soul.

Plus, many local jazz combos and emerging artists will perform throughout the weekend on multiple stages.

Participating Missouri Wineries

Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to sample and purchase wines from some of the state’s most celebrated wineries, including:

  • Mount Pleasant Estates
  • Augusta Winery
  • Noboleis Vineyards
  • Balducci Vineyards
  • Defiance Ridge Vineyards

From crisp Chardonnays and bold Nortons to refreshing rosés and sparkling varietals, the offerings showcase the diversity and quality of Midwestern winemaking.

Gourmet Food & Artisan Vendors

Complement your wine tasting with gourmet eats from local food trucks and culinary artisans.  Enjoy everything from artisan cheeses, charcuterie boards, flatbread pizzas, sweet treats, and small-batch baked goods.  Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.

Local artists and craft vendors will also be set up throughout downtown Augusta, offering handmade jewelry, décor, and wine-themed gifts.

Festival Schedule Overview

Friday, June 6 – Opening Night Concert & Wine Walk

Evening wine tastings begin at select wineries and continue into a lively night concert at the Town Square featuring local jazz acts.  This night provides a relaxed preview of the whole weekend.

Saturday, June 7 – Full Festival Day
