4 Hands Brewing Hosts Live Taylor Swift ‘Midnights’ Cover Show This Saturday

Posted on September 10, 2026September 10, 2026 By Elliot Hayes

St. Louis band Deadly Swift will perform Taylor Swift’s Midnights with a four-piece lineup Saturday afternoon inside the brewery’s upstairs entertainment space.

ST. LOUIS, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) — 4 Hands Brewing Company is giving St. Louis Swifties a new reason to visit its downtown brewery this Saturday, September 12.

From 1 to 4 p.m., the brewery will host Deadly Swift for a live performance centered around Taylor Swift’s Midnights. The four-piece band will perform upstairs at 4 Hands’ original brewery and tasting room, located at 1220 South 8th Street near Busch Stadium.

The event brings together three things St. Louis does particularly well: locally brewed beer, live music, and enthusiastic fan communities. Guests can explore 4 Hands’ lineup of craft beer before heading upstairs for an afternoon of Taylor Swift songs performed with a fresh live-band sound.

Craft Beer and Entertainment at 4 Hands Brewing

Founded in the LaSalle Park neighborhood in 2011, 4 Hands Brewing Company has grown into the largest craft brewery in the St. Louis area. Its downtown brewery remains a popular gathering place for local beer drinkers, sports fans, neighborhood residents, and visitors exploring the area around Busch Stadium.

The brewery offers an extensive selection of year-round favorites, seasonal releases, and limited-production beers. That variety makes the tasting room an easy destination for both longtime craft-beer fans and guests who simply want to try something new.

With fall approaching, visitors can explore seasonal selections such as 4 Hands Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale alongside the brewery’s established lineup. Oktoberfest features a toasted malt character balanced by floral, herbal, and lightly spicy hops. Pumpkin Ale brings together caramel malt flavors with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Beer is only part of the 4 Hands experience. The company is also home to 1220 Spirits, its collection of botanically inspired craft spirits, and Withered Oak, a line of uniquely finished and blended whiskeys.

The downtown location’s upstairs entertainment space is one of the brewery’s best features. The open, energetic setting gives guests room to gather for live music and special events while maintaining the casual feeling of a neighborhood tasting room.

It is the kind of space where visitors can order a local beer, find a comfortable place near the music, and turn a normal Saturday afternoon into something more memorable.

A Saturday Afternoon Created for St. Louis Swifties

Taylor Swift has built one of the most dedicated fan communities in modern music. That community extends far beyond stadium concerts, with fans regularly gathering for album celebrations, dance parties, themed brunches, trivia nights, and locally produced performances.

Saturday’s event at 4 Hands offers another way for St. Louis Swifties to experience the music together—and the brewery is turning the occasion into a complete Taylor Swift-themed afternoon.

Lala Links, a permanent-jewelry company, will be on-site offering guests the opportunity to add a lasting piece to the day. The event will also feature Taylor Swift-inspired cocktails, a friendship-bracelet-making station, and the full selection of 4 Hands beers.

The centerpiece of the afternoon will be Deadly Swift’s performance of Midnights, Swift’s 2022 album featuring songs such as “Anti-Hero,” “Lavender Haze,” “Maroon,” “Bejeweled,” “Karma,” and “You’re on Your Own, Kid.”

Hearing the album performed by a live four-piece band will give the songs a different energy from their familiar studio versions. Guitars, bass, drums, vocals, and the natural interaction between the musicians will bring a more organic feeling to the album’s atmospheric production.

Fans will still recognize the lyrics and melodies they love, but the live arrangements—and the Swiftie celebration surrounding them—will create an experience that cannot be recreated by simply pressing play on the album.

Deadly Swift Brings a Jam-Band Approach to Taylor Swift

‘Noah Smith’s Deadly Swift’ or ‘Deadly Swift’ – for short- is led by St. Louis musician Noah Smith, who has performed at 4 Hands on several occasions and has developed a comfortable relationship with the brewery and its audience.

The band’s concept combines Taylor Swift’s songwriting with an approach inspired by the Grateful Dead and the wider jam-band tradition. Instead of attempting to reproduce every studio arrangement note for note, Deadly Swift allows the songs to expand through longer guitar solos, instrumental sections, transitions, and moments of live improvisation.

It is a subtle but meaningful difference.

Swifties still get the lyrics, melodies, and emotional storytelling at the center of the songs. The jam-band influence simply gives the musicians more room to explore them in a live setting. That can turn a familiar song into a performance that feels unique to the particular band, venue, and audience.

The concept has begun finding an audience online. Deadly Swift has grown to more than 8,000 TikTok followers, with that number continuing to increase through Taylor Swift covers, live-performance clips, and interaction with the Swiftie community.

The band also recently released an extended cover of “Maroon” on Spotify. The recording offers a strong example of its musical approach, using Swift’s original song as the foundation for a longer, guitar-driven arrangement.

Saturday’s Midnights performance will bring that same idea to the upstairs stage at 4 Hands.

A Strong Addition to the 4 Hands Event Calendar

The Deadly Swift performance is a natural fit for a brewery that has consistently made community events and local entertainment part of its identity.

4 Hands has built a destination that offers more than beverages alone. Its events give people a reason to gather, discover local performers, and experience the brewery in a new way. Saturday’s show continues that tradition by welcoming a growing St. Louis band and an active local fan community into the space.

The afternoon schedule also makes the event easy to include in a full day downtown. Guests can stop by for a beer and a few songs, remain for the complete Midnights performance, or make the brewery their destination before exploring other attractions nearby.

For Swifties, it offers a chance to sing along and meet other fans. For craft-beer drinkers, it adds live entertainment to an afternoon at one of the region’s best-known breweries. For curious music fans, it provides an introduction to an unusual St. Louis band that is finding new territory between modern pop and classic jam-band culture.

Together, 4 Hands Brewing Company and Deadly Swift have created an event that feels distinctly local: original, welcoming, slightly unexpected, and best enjoyed with a good beer in hand.
