Tasty Bowl Stir Fry & Sushi to Open in O’Fallon, Illinois on June 16th or 17th, 2025

O’FALLON, IL (StLouisRestaurantReview): According to owner Sean Lin, Tasty Bowl Stir Fry & Sushi will open at 51 Lincoln Hwy, O’Fallon, Illinois, sometime in May.  The target date is the second week of May. We are excited about its opening for many reasons, which will be available soon.

Owners Sean Lin & Ling Lin are opening the establishment with an interest in other restaurants across the Midwest.

There isn’t much detail, but we are in touch with the owner(s) and they have agreed to keep us updated on their progress.

Tasty Bowl Might be the Most Technologically Advanced Restaurant in the St. Louis region.

The facility will feature a sushi bar and robotic stir-fry tumblers that cook food quickly and consistently, resulting in fewer staff members.  The video below shows what Tasty Bowl might offer if our understanding is correct.  If our knowledge is accurate, this will be the most technologically advanced restaurant in the St. Louis region.

They have spent significant money on the facility, creating a fine-dining atmosphere with a lounge serving sake.

We hope to provide updated details and pictures of the facility as it approaches opening. We have high expectations for this new establishment and restaurant business model.

UPDATE:

• May 5, 2025 – The final inspection should be next week, and then they can open.  We will be there on opening day to see this robotic cooking show.
• June 12, 2015 – Opening Day will be Monday, June 16th or 17th, 2025.  Inspections are passed, staff are hired, and are being trained now.  They are still seeking servers and bartenders.  Call to apply.
• June 19, 2025 – They officially opened today as announced by STL.News.
