Al-Bake Chicken & Burgers Closes, but there is possibly new owners coming
ST LOUIS, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) Al-Bake Chicken & Burgers closed November 1, 2021. However, according to the owners, there might be a new owner coming to reopen the facility. It is not known who or what type of restaurant will open.
Sadly, Al-Bake opened only a few months ago. It is reasonable to think that the business environment and overwhelming challenges faced by the restaurant industry was a significant factor in the closing.
Since the pandemic’s beginning, more than 12% of restaurants have closed nationwide, and that number will likely continue to increase. For the restaurant that survived the pandemic, now they face inflation and supply chain issues, making it impossible for some small establishments to access certain supplies as they are being saved for the bigger customers of the product suppliers.
