Shamrocks Pub n Grill relocates to Mexico Road in St. Peters, previously occupied by Cork n Barrel.
St. Peters, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) During one of the most challenging times in the history of the restaurant industry, Kyle and Kelly Dent, owners of Shamrocks Pub n Grill, achieved a great objective.
They have owned and operated Shamrocks for approximately ten years. During this most difficult time for restaurant owners, they purchased a facility to relocate, ending the never-ending routine of lease payments.
While the timing with low-interest rates was appropriate, one of the hardest-hit industries was not the best. Still, they achieved this overwhelming obstacle due to their restaurant management skills.
Not only do they own the facility, but the facility was home to a fine dining restaurant known as Cork n Barrel, which went out of business.
Dents opened in the new location on November 1, 2021, with a banquet room continuously available for parties and events, additional seating for approximately 75 to 100 customers.
They maintain approximately 30 domestic and craft beers on tap, surrounded by a beautiful bar featuring a large fireplace that creates a rustic atmosphere.
They offer brunch on weekends and feature Trivia night on Monday and Wednesday nights.
And everybody loves Happy Hour Specials, which is from 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday thru Friday:

- $3 – Loaded Wedges and Well Drinks
- $4 – Toasted Ravioli & House Wine

- $6 – Spud Stocks & Tito’s and Jameson Mules

- Lunch Specials – served from 11 am to 4 pm – Monday thru Friday for $7.99
According to Elaina, prices did not increase after the move, which is surprising during this inflationary time.
It is a beautiful facility with a rustic atmosphere, great menu, great location, and above-average customer reviews. It is owned and managed by serious and qualified restauranteurs to make such an impressive and courageous move in this pandemic, inflationary economic time but rewarded with low-interest rates.
