For the Maryland Heights location, they used Thai Mama because there is already a Thai Kitchen location that the founder, Sasimonthon Ongartsutthikul, opened in 1999. A few years later, she sold it to her sister, and then her sister sold it to an unrelated individual. Therefore, to avoid confusion, she opened Thai Mama, but it has the same great menu and service as her other existing location. All have high online ratings.
