CREVE COEUR, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) Pumpernickles Delicatessen is located on Olive Blvd in Creve Coeur, MO has posted on their Facebook page that they have permanently closed due to economic conditions.
Their website’s “About” page states, “Harlan Levin has been the owner of Pumpernickles Deli since April 2012. According to the Missouri Secretary of State, they formed the company on February 16, 2012.
As we reported several months ago, more restaurants will close in the upcoming months.
TGIF on Olive Blvd in Creve Coeur also recently closed after many years of business.
We started reporting many months ago that restaurants need to ensure they have priced their menu to reflect the increase in prices due to inflation and offer online ordering and delivery. We stand firm on our recommendations and assure restaurant owners that the change in purchasing habits and inflation will not end soon. Therefore, all restaurants must ensure that they offer online ordering and delivery and ensure that their menu is priced appropriately and regularly reviewed to provide reasonable prices.
Promote your restaurant on St. Louis Restaurant Review with eOrderSTL, which is an online ordering system. This approach comes across as self-promotional. It is, but these are the very reasons we launched the online ordering site. It is a reliable online ordering platform that has a very low failure rate and integrates with major delivery companies.
We recently published our first year’s results of eOrderSTL. Click to learn more.
