St. Louis Restaurant Reviews’ Restaurateur of the Year – 2022 will soon be announced.

ST LOUIS, MO (StLouisRestaurantReview) St. Louis Restaurant Review will soon announce our first “Restaurateur of the Year – 2022” award.  We are preparing to release our award soon after a multi-month-long search taking multiple factors into consideration.

The restaurant industry has been severely affected over the past two years facing challenges like COVID lockdown, staff shortages, and now facing supply chain challenges.  As a result, more than 15% of restaurants nationwide have closed, with more to come.  However, smart restaurant owners survived, streamlined their operations and expenses, leveraged online ordering and delivery, and some have even expanded, while others have closed by the overwhelming challenges.

We are proud of our choice!  Our designated person has overcome everything imaginable to survive and grow during the pandemic.  Naturally, it is a local, family-owned business with multiple locations.  The owner migrated to the USA several years ago for a better life and has mastered many challenges.  They have opened approximately 15 restaurants and sold them and still have three with more to come.  We have not announced the recipient because they are negotiating on a new location, and we want to include that news in our announcement.
